Bioshock 2 Single Player
here's a review i have written for anyone that is interested...
Finished my second play through two days after release and boy was it worth it...
This game is great for fans of the original as it continues to provide us with the atmosphere and curiosity of the first one, the amazing underwater city of Rapture still is waiting to be fully explored and through the eyes of the big daddy its a lot more action packed.
Having the ability to have a weapon in one hand and a plasmid in the other is the first obvious but nice change to the original layout and is indeed a good one. This ability is a simple way to keep things fast paced and entertaining, shock em, shoot em, bash em. That's they way to go! Nothing beats bashing those splicers over the head with your drill dash.
The original Bioshock storyline was an important one and is focused on thoroughly in the sequel, after Bioshock having won Game of the Year, the sequel had a lot of pressure from its fans and i believe they provided us with exactly what we were after.
Overall the game sticks to the classic underwater Eutopian landscape and provides us with a different view its people and its combat. It is a good sequel and its those similarities and minor differences that keep us on out toes wanting more. So if you are a fan of Bioshock, this game is an almost perfect follow up to that. 9/10.
Positives:
-Story
-In depth Characters
-Weapon Upgrades
-Being a Big Daddy
Negatives:
-Some Resolutions had problems before the patch
-Lack of Brand New Plasmids
-Improved visuals would have been nice

Re: Bioshock 2 Single Player
I'm not into BioCrap. I think it is one of the worst games EVER. And it's the same with 2.
Re: Bioshock 2 Single Player
I think it is a great game. Good storyline, weapons, personal upgrades etc etc. Not really my type of game, but still a good game.
