ok i was gonna get a Gigabyte X58 motherboard for my new comp but i went to 5 or so shops and they said that they dont sell it anymore and there suppliers dont sell it either but im looking into this motherboard Gigabyte p55-UD6 heres a link of the specs

yeah that a good board ddr3 ram surport xfire and sli surport exturnal sata ports 7.1 sound i heard the sound on these latest borads from gigabyte have really good sound and there really good for over clocking so that i7 will run real good on it Very Happy

I wouldn't get an Nvidia board; Nvidia are thieves who make shitty drivers >:

I myself have an Nforce ultra SLI, but i can't use it properly, because my god-damned card hits 85 Celsius on idle >; When my card gets too hot, my games crash. Hence: even though i have 1gb of dedicated graphics to use, i can't utilize all of it because my 'pute will defecate a dukey into its dacks.

Open your computer up. it is the piece of silicon that your ram, cpu, video card and PCI stuff sits on. It also links all your peripherals and drives.

Oh thanks, my ram is corsair and it seems to do the job quite nicely. I only have 2gb of ddr3... when i expand my memory i will get kingston.
